About Us
Fiberology Dyeworks is a small-batch independent dye studio in southeast Michigan, founded in 2022. Kate is our chaotic good dyemaster and Jeff handles the logistics. We get our moral support from the feline team, Molly and Maisy.
We believe that all art has value, that black lives matter, and that all bodies deserve beautiful knits. We believe that community makes art better, so we're so happy you're here.

About Our Yarn
We do our best to provide the highest quality yarn possible to help you make your yarny dreams come true!
All of our yarns are mulesing-free and sourced from Peru and Uruguay.
Yarn Bases:
Squish Sock - 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon - 400 yards/100g
Squish Sock Minis - 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon - 80 yards/20g
Cozy DK - 100% superwash merino - 246 yards/100g
Cozy Worsted - 100% superwash merino - 218 yards/100g
Cozy Bulky - 100% superwash merino - 106 yards/100g
Mohair Lace - 72% super kid mohair, 28% silk - 459 yards/50g
To care for your yarn and finished objects, we recommend hand-washing and laying your pieces flat to dry. Superwash bases can be washed in a washing machine on the gentle cycle. Our yarn is thoroughly rinsed before it embarks on its journey to you, but all hand-dyed yarn has the potential to bleed in the first few washes; we recommend washing your makes separately at first just in case.

Dyed-to-order: Dyed-to-order yarn takes time to make just for you! Orders ship in 2-4 weeks.
In-Stock: In-stock yarn sales ship within 5 days of ordering.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges: If there is a problem with your order, including damage from shipping, please reach out ASAP! If you need to return an item, email us to request a refund within 5 days of receiving your order and we'll walk you through the process. Returned items must be in their original condition (not caked, wound, or balled) and buyers are responsible for return shipping, except in cases of damage.
